this is the story of a girl who thinks life is one big roller-coaster ride. I fish, read, hike, travel, love. I'm stubborn. I love my cat Lucy. I want a golden retriever. I live for Jesus, and it's kinda hard. I love music. I would probably be great working for a non-profit. I like beautiful things and the rain. and blogging. I try to pretend that I don't have an engineering degree and often contemplate working at a flower shop. I curse more often than I should. I love New York City.

I started this blog at the end of 2007.
The title is inspired by the Carrie Underwood's Carnival Ride album...
"God put us here on this carnival ride. We close our eyes Never knowing where it will take us Next."
It's an evolution of transparent living. I write down what I think about life, situations, friends, work, faith...everything.
I'm far from perfect, but I try to live a life that points to my Creator. I fail often, but I try really hard most of the time.
I think the only thing you leave behind are the lives you touched. I'm learning that shifts all my goals and focus. I don't really care anything about money or what's popular. I just try to do me.
Love wins. I believe it, but still try to figure out what it means.
