It's Falling

Good Morning Friends!  It is Fall!!!!!  I hope you've been basking in all the loveliness of it.

things here have been on fast-forward like they always seem to be.  every day brings something new, but maybe I will try to slow it down.  maybe i will try to write more. i miss it so much every day.  work has been busy, keeping me mostly occupied during the day, except of course, when I have to chat with my friends on the other end of the hall.  Jake and Shamika and Van and Michael.  and nancy! I just remembered that Nancy, my puerto rican receptionist, is back today.  her mother was very sick in PR so she has been gone for 2 weeks.  so sad.  I have prayed for her mom. i sure hope they can find some peace in whatever it is they are going through.

nothing dramatically different to point out at work, except that I have realized, i might have portrayed people at my work a little more interesting and funny then they are. they are not at all.  they are mostly a-holes and not funny.  not all, but most. i will still find the humor in little things, but i'm just sayin'.

on another note, i'm sitting in the kitchen eating my everyday breakfast and my cat keeps looking at me like she wants food.  somehow her food is all on the floor and she acts like she literally cannot see it.  so then I show her, and nope, won't eat it.  I put it in her bowl, nope.  she is refusing to eat it b/c it touched the floor. what a cat diva!!

okay, i have to get ready, but I've been thinking about you.  I need to write.  I need to find the time.  It will come.  I can't even say I've been doing anything brilliant in my free time.  at least not last week.

that's alright though.
maybe I'll count it success if I find some time to sit outside and enjoy the fall (with a starbucks holiday drink.)

here's to hoping that we make this Monday great.  even if it comes at us full-force like a Monday!
