Blitz and Glitz

Well, I've done it again.  I joined my work fantasy football league.  so dumb. I don't know why I do this.  

i would like to thank a couple people so far. 

Ashley for helping me come up with the name - Blitz and Glitz.  [next year, I already have  my next name in the hopper "Tastes like Glitter and Football" I think it would be funny to hear the guys say that]

Ward for offering very helpful advice today to my overall team makeup.  

Todd for accepting my initial instant messages freakin' out that draft was in 20 minutes and I forgot what the first positions are that I need to draft.  

Brian for making me laugh when I messaged him for help and he gave me this nugget of wisdom 

"Draft the best player available!  Not how you think they look in their uniforms..."  

I love it!

So here is my Blitz and Glitz girl fantasy football team in the boys league:

Tony Romo - cute and newly married to Chace Crawford's sister.  I though will always remember how he was attached to Jess Simpson and Carrie Underwood

J. Addai - I'm pretty sure Brian had him 2 or 3 yrs ago when we were on a league together

A. Foster - apparently an excellent pick because when I picked it from my desk in our life draft this afternoon, the boys gasped and yelled my name from the conference room. whatever that means. (did I mention I had second pick?)

B. Lloyd - another one that I got yelled at from the other room for picking which I guess means is good. I also picked because he plays for Denver of which I know the assistant coach.  I told one of my co-workers who wanted him, "yeah, remember before when Brandon Marshall was on the Denvers"  ....the denvers....he yelled at me and said this is why he didn't like playing with girls.

G. Jennings. don't know anything about him.

Celek, Thomas and Rackers. I'm pretty sure I've had Neil Rackers in another fantasy life. maybe. i have the giants Defense because they are my TEAM.

also, I got Chris Cooley, because since I played my first year of fantasy football I haven't wanted him and his COOL name on my team.  yes, I picked him because of his name.  the rest I'm sure I picked because of how cute they were or how nice their smile was in their team shot.  I mean, HELLO?!  what else do you want?!!

we don't have any money on this league though so the whole thing is probably down the toilet.  people don't keep up with and commit to it if their money isn't behind it too.  for rich people, these coworkers are pretty cheap.  what's a $20 gamble in a fantasy league???  I guess a lot when you don't know much about football or how to operate a draft, etc.  man cards, please.
