Lunch at Danal

NYC is a lot about eating.  And eating at great restaurants...since there are a ga-zillion, it's a big deal to always eat somewhere delish with a great ambience. 

thought I would show you where I had lunch today.  

the other asst, her boss is out on vacay so we got to have lunch.  Here's where we went. ..

Just 3 blocks down from our office, one small yellow store front leads into this lovely place...

this is what it looks like when you walk in.  there is a spiral staircase that goes upstairs.  It was nice and darker then this.  

I sat in the last booth seat to the left.  

Apparently, Danal was conceived in the teahouses of Paris...ooh la la! 

it's not super cheap but was a treat.  

I was hunting to see what I was eating to plug into the ole daily burn. 

Mediterranean Plate – spanakopita, hummus, pita, falafel, cucumber yogurt sauce & Mediterranean vegetables 

I went Mediterranean!
